Yep, was at the market and ate Welsh cakes they were delish! I really wanted to try the laver bread, 'cause I think you should try everything ONCE, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It looked like seaweed that someone already ate once (no offense). We stayed at the Beaumont Hotel on Walter Rd. and the proprietors were very nice. I ADORED the welsh language tv and signs everywhere. Walked the Mumbles(cute shops) and the marina, lunched at Morgan's and talked to nice people on the bus who didn't like Catherine Zeta Jones. I wished we had more time to spend there but we were off to France and Italy for the rest of our Grand tour. Darn it I'll just have to come back! G' Night To Abertawe! |
