It is an anatomical problem with the collapsing trachea. Not much you can do for it. I have one Yorkie with it and the other without it.
She went through a period where it was really bad and my vet gave me some pills to help the swelling and it settled down quite a bit. She still does it about once a week though. I just have to pick here up and calm her down. |
