I for one would love to join the YTCA and have a voice and voting rights but it would be hypocritical of me to join since they have this clause which states:
"I agree to uphold the principles of the Club’s Constitution, Bylaws,
Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct and will protect the interests of the Yorkshire Terrier in a manner reflecting credit to myself, the Breed, and the Club.
Would it be ethical and honest for me to join, agreeing to the terms above, yet knowing that I am breeding off standard colors? My word is my honor and I can't agree to terms that I am unable to abide by. It should be the same for any YTCA exhibitor or breeder - off color or not off color - as well as the balance of the terms listed on the website, that the club states you are agreeing to by joining.
So us parti breeders are dammed if we do join and dammed if we don't.
