I think AR went smoke free last year or the year before.
You have to be a long way away from a building to smoke and any place (bar included) that sales food, you can not smoke. So a lot of bars here had to decide if they wanted to stop selling food to allow people to still smoke in there.
I don't smoke, so I am not certain how it all works.
When my grandfather was alive (he didn't die of lung cancer), he would never smoke in anyone's car, house or an eating place...he would always go outside...just as respect to others. BUT he hated (as did I) going to a place to eat and the non-smoking and smoking areas were not even really divided...
