Happy New Year Everyone!!
Today we are staying home. It is Furbutt bath day.
I have a big pot of "Soup Beans" on and will be making some cornbread. (Now remember, I am a true northerner...born & raised Michigan girl.... but I am TRYING to make "Soup Beans" for my hubby for New Years... it is my 1st time..
) I called a few of my friends up north to get recipes for "Soup Beans" but they kept saying...."You mean "Bean" Soup?" LOL.... my hubby says that they are 2 completely different things, so I didn't use any of the recipes!! I had to call one of my "Southern" friends that does a lot of home-cookin!
OK.... quit laughing.......
I just don't do "southern cooking"!!! (I like Mexican & Italian best)
