I worried about this when I got Lacey, very tiny, Chloe was 6 months old. It was not a problem. I just let nature take its course, the only time they are fussy is at night when they are tired of each other. It is great having a companion for Chloe. They play and play and play. I do keep them in separate kennels at night, next to each other, in a separate room from me. I thought I wanted one big kennel but since they are together roaming freely throughout the house all day, I think they just need their own space and down time at night. Neither dog has ever cried at night or not slept through the night, once they were old enough to hold their peepee.
