I guess I should also say that Loki does things like hide in the closet during storms. Since he is fine when in the closet, and scared when he's not, we just move in bed in there on nights when there are thunderstorms and let him chill. No sense forcing the issue. He's also fearful of other dogs (esp. big dogs) and we work on that constantly with treats on our walks. There are many many books out there that explain how. Check out "Fearful Fido". |
