Guard your Angels My neighbor came pounding on my door today. A gal from the first litter that I bred was entrusted to him, he never took the honor very seriously. She was allowed to run around outside without supervision too often. Though she loved to run and she stayed out of the road and close to home it's a big scary world out there for a little yorkie. An Akita got ahold of her today. Right there in front of her garage, she couldn't get in doors fast enough. It looks like he broke her back. I pinched her pawpads of her rear legs but there was no reaction. She's unresponsive to our voices but will open her eyes to my touch. I had to call half a dozen vets to find one open this afternoon and when I found one I pretty much pushed him out the door with her. All Zoe ever wanted was to be loved and romp and play. She couldn't keep herself safe that was our job. Please guard your babies carefully, they can be gone so very quickly.
