Loki has fear issues. He was taken away from mom and littermates too early and some of it could just be his personality. Anyway, my vet doesn't recommend medication, just slow behavior modification. He still barks at loud noises but thanks to a LOT of positive reinforcement obedience training he understands me when I give him commands. He knows what things like "no one's there" and "it's on tv" and just "quiet" means. Work on communication and let him trust you. You don't even need a fancy anxiety wrap, although they work, a tight t-shirt works too!
