I absolutely agree. I am constantly defending myself for putting clothes on Tucker to my family members, co-workers, heck- even some rude guy at Petco the other day. Before I gotTucker I, myself, probably would have chuckled to see a dog in a coat but 1) We live in Massachusetts and it gets cold here for anyone let alone a 6-pound Yorkie and 2) He looks so cute! I think until someone loves a dog, they will never understand.
I totally empathize with you're feeling somewhat ridiculous but as others have said, maybe not in quite the same words, screw 'em!
They have no idea what they are missing out on!
