Oh, that's aweful! Most vets won't even do debarking anymore...most agree that it's cruel and unneccessary and doesn't completely stop a dog from barking. It has to be very painful as well...we all know how sensitive our throats are... The AVMA says that debarking should only be done as a last resort. Debarking is one procedure I will never do when I'm a vet
