The Dr called with bad news today. Mogli's platelettes are lower. He has not been eating but a few bites ... his BUN, Creatine and Phosphorous levels are up from Saturday.
They said there are more tests they can run for the platelette problem, but that the kidneys are not sustainable. We wanted to try our best and do everything we can, and it sounds like that time has come.
They are giving him a transfusion today in an effort to make him feel better.
We are driving down to get him tonight ... so he can spend some time at home before the inevitable.
When this is all over and I gather some thoughts I will post about his family time. |
