I have a baby gate across the little hallway leading to my front door which I have to step over every time I use that door and so do my visitors. It is an inconvenience but well worth the piece of mind that my two guys won't run out into the road and get hit by a car. Even the best trained dog can have a lapse of training at any time and it's just not worth that risk to me.
