This is a DETAILED pic of how I shave their butts...this has always worked well for me...I use clippers on the next to closest setting and shave the entire area up the tail, to the sides, down to the booty or family jewels, and a little down the backside of the legs. When the tail is down you don't even notice, and I never have a problem with poop sticking on them...
