I took my 3 1/2 day Holly in for removing her dew claws and to dock the tail. The vet told me because she was so small that I needed to wait until day 7. I took her back when she was 6 1/2 days old and had it done. She weighed 3.5 oz at birth and was 7oz when I had this done. He charged me $30 for the docking and $30 for the declawing. I think that it should have been done earlier though. The longer you wait the more nerve endings there are. I heard Holy crying in the back room when he did it. She is fine now though.
