An old pro photographer's trick is to just keep snapping away. Sooner or later, you're bound to get something you like. And with digital, it's free!

Another pro photographer's trick is cropping. (see pic).

Finally, once you get good (I'm not) with a photo editor, you can crop out the best of your picture set and combine them into one photo. Ok, it's cheating, but if it's good enough for the pros, it's good enough for us!

Seriously, if you don't mind a little constructive advise -
Better lighting.
Better angle - get closer to their level? Also, move around for different angles. Yorkiecrazy has to keep reminding me of this one.
Better expressions - use a happy voice and maybe a squeak toy or favorite food.

Keep snapping and posting please.
