The other day my sil told me her neighbor is in the military and had a bunch of Toys For Tots toys. He let my niece come over and choose a few as well as his daughter  This makes me so mad, neither children are in need! Those toys are for the kids who aren't as fortunate. If he has extras he should donate them to hospitals or other places ...but to pick and choose from them is ridiculous.
Think about it, would you give to Toys For Tots if you knew the person handling them was giving them out as gifts to people they knew????? |

I think that volunteering is extremely valuable and makes a huge difference in people's lives

Money and material goods are good, but just that extra human contact for a disadvantaged person, you can't buy that
