Unless the puppy was weaned onto nothing but dry, I think a bit of wet mixed in is good for them, especially if it is a high quality food. It took Gracie until she was more than a year old to be happy with just kibble in the morning. She still likes the canned mixed in for the evening meal. When Gracie was a puppy, she went on food strikes. She wouldn't eat anything except Nutrical. It was a phase that she got through eventually. Frustrating though!
