Hey! I just bought my second yorkie from a wonderful lady, not really a breeder, just a lover of the breed and has 2 or 3 litters a year. Hand raised babies! She has 8 adult yorkies of her own, out of these 7 females she only lets one or two have a litter a year. Anyway, everyone of her yorkies has beautiful white teeth. Even the 7 year old, never had their teeth cleaned! The most beautiful teeth! She gives all of them a spoon (tablespoon or two) of cottage cheese in the morning and at night. I think there is a natural enzyme in the cottage cheese that helps keep the teeth clean, plus the calcium! At this point you may need to let the vet clean them and then try the cottage cheese. Good luck!
