Unfortunately showing doesn't always equal reputable. Looking at show breeders is a good place to start, but there are several things you have to look at to make sure they are reputable. I just found out about a show breeder in TX getting suspended from the AKC temporarily for sending in false litter registration papers. I hope you're able to get them

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
