Make sure the hair is trimmed off of the ear and the edge of the ear. You will be surprised how much hair comes off of a little ear that doesn't look that furry. When you are holding your puppy, put your thumb on the back of his ear and roll the folded over part gently upward toward the standing position with your index finger. You do not want to damage the ear or it will never stand. Do this as often as you can. The more you do, the better your chances are of getting the ears up. Pretty soon it will be too late. Add some cottage cheese to the food for about a week. Just like a teaspoon full per meal. Remember to cut back on the dog food amount since you are adding the cottage cheese. My 4 puppies are 8 weeks old and they all have their ears up. I always trim the puppies ears while they are young (several times) and have never had ears that weren't up by 8 weeks.
