I once dropped my purse on my yorkies back. Emergency visit, X-rays, bandage, cortisone and pain meds proved to me that these tiny little balls of fluff need a little extra attention. Nothing was wrong. Just a bit of inflammation.
in my area, having an orthopedic surgeon fix a broken bone on a yorkie will cost you at least three THOUSAND dollars. Soft Tissue surgery will run about the same, maybe less maybe more depending on what exactly is wrong.
