Having her spayed is definitely a great choice. Much healthier for your little yorkie. Of course there are always slight risks whenever there is a surgery.... but a good outcome outweighs that small risk!
I really didn't notice a difference in Shelby when she was spayed. She was about 9 months old. She was very active and playful before and still is!... I don't know if anone else has had a different experience, but that was ours.
