Thank you again. Mom feels well today. She is recovering nicely and should be able to reduce some of her heart medications. Our new dilemma is that my dad just doesn't have the stamina to care for her at home just yet. So we'll try to determine if we can get enough in home care to suffice or if she'll need to go to a nursing home for rehab and transition (an option that terrifies and saddens them both).
While getting old in its own passage is a beautiful thing, why does it have to sometimes be filled with scary and awful things that can foster paranoia and sadness too?
