Poor girl! My Maltese had tonsillitis a few weeks ago and what actually got us into the vet was that he kept throwing up. My vet said that the drainage from the tonsils upsets their tummies so that's usually what will cause them to puke. Tuffy is a piglet so I never had any problems getting him to eat. My main concern was making sure he was hydrated. I used a syringe to force him to drink water. My tip to making him take the Amox pill was tucking it into a Gerber chicken stick. They are really soft and easy to eat and won't upset their stomachs. You are doing the right thing by giving her soft foods.. you might want to chill it in the fridge so it's soothing to eat. I hope she feels better!
