The canned pumpkin is a good idea. You also need to make sure he is staying hydrated, you can give him some pedialyte if you have any. When they have constant diarhea they lose alot of liquids so keeping them hydrated is very important.
You may also want to try a more bland diet for him. Boneless, skinless chicken breast and white rice mixed in with his food will help his stool to harden as well.
You can also give him a little bit of pepto bismol to help as well. My vet recommends 1 cc per 5pounds.
Keep a close eye on him and try to get him to the vet as soon as you can. |
