Four years old is a bit mature for a first litter. Keep a very close eye on her and make sure that you have access to an emergency vet while she is in labor. I know a lady who bred her gal for the first time after she was 3 and her uterus ruptured. She was able to get to the vet immediately for an emergency c-section but lost 3 of the pups. The muscles have lost some elasticity by that age and it's harder for them to perform such a difficult task. Best advise, make good friends with your vet and find a mentor if you can.
