we adopted a 4 year old yorkie, and have had her for approx 3 weeks. she is doing wonderfully, except she keeps nipping at one of my children. I have three children.
(3 times total now)

twice was when she was guarding her cookie, and once when my child was reaching for her shoe, (near where the dog was resting)

any advice on how to correct. (not punish) the dog, and how to have my child not be afraid of the dog.
