sometimes the food hasnot digested properly and the smell of the poo smells like food to them, so they go ahead and eat it again. someone suggested meat tenderizer being mixed in with the food this helps it breakdown the food a little better in the tummy. But i think all pups go through this and sometimes it will just pass normally and sometimes they need a little nudge like with the aid of the tenderizer.
Also, when you catch him in the actyou have to clap your hands and give a firm NO so they know that it is not a good thing to eat their own poo! |
