Unlove possible lymphangiectasia?

my 7 year old yorkie was recently in the e.r. it began with her having serious diarrhea (with gritty like material), and then progressed to her losing strength in her back legs, on the ride to the vet she began panting very heavily. the vet did a blood work up on her and found that she has dangerously low levels of albumin. they gave her albumin infusions and started her on Hill's i/d she seemed fine for the last few days, then today i took her back to the vet and they found her albumin levels were low again, but the gritty material seems to be gone. they think it could be lymphangiectasia. they want to do an endoscopy on her. has anyone else had any experience with something like this? by the way, when i feed her i/d wet food she seems to be back in spirits, but i know this sounds hopeful.
