Oh Brooke, I'm sorry! I know exactly how you feel, as one time (last Christmas Eve, in fact) Jake tried to get his collar off and had it stuck in a way that was choking him. My hubby and son got it off, but it scared me so bad that I was shaking for the longest time. Jake was scared at first, then he was totally back to normal and the incident was forgotten (by him, anyway). Since then, we never keep his collar on unless we take him out.
It's so easy for these little ones to pick something up off the floor and run with it. I'm constantly checking the floor, ESPECIALLY when my grandchildren are visiting. It's sooooo scary! I'm just glad little Tatum is okay. I hope you can calm down and relax soon. I know how scared you are. Give Tatum a little snuggle from the boys and me! |
