Now that's a poser. I don't know if I can be of much help. SOme Yorkies do not take kindly to another wee one coming into the home. Some are quite happy with the idea. How old is the one you have now? He should be neutered already, housebroken etc, as all this helps when you get a second one.
They don't as a rule lose interest in you because they have a buddy. The bigger problem is whether or not he would welcome another dog/Yorkie.
A second one will kind of double your work load as you will now have two needy little beings wanting your attention.
If you do get a second one, make sure you get one from someone that would be willing to take it back if yours won't accept a new one. |
