My son used to take Paxil and he is now on Lexapro. He did OKay on the Paxil, but it tended to disinhibit him so that he seemed a bit wierd--hard to describe. My other son also tried Paxil for a short while, and he thought he could fly. We took him off of it asap (well, as quickly as he could be weaned off, since you should NEVER stop taking antidepressants/anti-anxiety meds cold turkey).
