Guys, she did say that they are being rehomed not because there is a new baby coming, because she and her husband can't give them the attention they need & deserve. If she feels that they could have better lives in a new home, why do we need to talk her out of that? As yorkie lovers, we need to stand back and think. OK, so say they keep the dogs. But they have 2 toddlers and a new baby, so they dogs don't get played with and walked and exercised as much as they should. OR the dogs go to a new family, and after a time of adjustment, they live out the rest of their lives being loved and played with.
I know it might be hard to believe, but older dogs actually can love, trust, and do well with a new family. if she didn't care about her dogs, she wouldn't have searched on the internet, found YT, joined, and then posted this thread. She would have dumped them at the pound. So maybe we should show her some respect and understanding for trying to do the right thing.
