I'm very sorry for your loss, I know your heart must be broken.

We never expect a tragedy to occur and there's nothing we can do to make the pain feel better but to give it time .

Once, my yorkie poo Bentley (he was 5 months old) ran out the front door when my little sister opened it coming home from school. The school was right across the street and Bentley saw all the children running everywhere and BOLTED across the street during the heaviest traffic time of the day. He could have easily been hit. And you know what I did? I froze. I didn't call or chase after him I was so stunned. Luckily my husband was home and ran after him. God only knows what would have happened if he didn't. I still beat myself up over what if's.

But honestly you had no idea that would happen and it was just what it was -- an accident .

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers <3
