I have a cat also named Elmo and he was kenneled while I was out of town and of course everything seemed fine. Tonight I saw him scoot his butt across the floor and I am concerned he may have worms, and I am wondering if Sydnee can get these from Elmo? She is so tiny only about 8 oz. and I really don't want her to get ill. Is there something I can do till I can get to the Vet? thanks in advance, Viki
Welcome! I am a new yorkie mommy also...just got my Quincy on Sunday.
I wanted to say that I do know that cats can get worms from other cats who are infected so I would think that puppies/dogs could too. I don't mean to scare you, but you need to take your kitty to the vet and get treated or buy worm medicine at a store-Walmart carries worm meds. I have successfully wormed my cat before using this medicine from the store, but I can't remember the name of it. It did work though.
Again welcome! I have been reading this forum for awhile and everyone here is so very nice and knowledgable.
