That's a good thing though. She's comfortable with you now. I got a Poodle mix from a shelter a few years ago, I really don't know what made me go to the shelter that day. The lady told me that her time was running short since she had been there for a while and that was it for me. When I got Georgi she was a mess, hair was matted, had an ear infection, really bad teeth and was nothing but bones. She had been neglected and abused by her previous owner. She was really shy when she got here but now she's a happy and very loud little girl. I have loved watching her turn into the girl she is now we all love her very much. I think the "rescue pets" are the best, they are so appreciative of everything you do for them.
