I had to explain to a lady yesterday how some breeders are breeding them smaller and smaller so they can jack up the prices...and though they may be cute, they have lots of health problems, etc. And THEN I explained what the AKC looks for in a show yorkie.

By this time the person was annoyed with hearing more Yorkie info. from me than they wanted to know. But that's not fair for her to say "woah, you have a BIG yorkie!"

SULLY IS A NORMAL YORKIE, PEOPLE GET IT IN YOUR HEADS STRAIGHT!
i can so relate to what your saying. its almost better to just let them think what they want and ignore it rather than explaining it but people need to know the breed standard if they are going to comment on our babies.
