I have the Bose docking system for my IPod and I love it !
It was a present 2 years ago and it cost 299.00 then and I have not ever seen it go down in price. The sound quality is wonderful and it does get loud enough to carry through a house FULL of people. I have even taken it outdoors and it worked well there too!
