That was about how long it took before our Yorkies lump developed after her shot series. I believe that it was determined to be the Rabies vaccine that caused the swelling, due to the location of the lump. Our Vet gives each shot in a specific location and this helped in his knowing that it was a shot site that was swelling, which appears to be somewhat common in the little ones. Of course it is important to call your Vet for ideas/opinions, but I hope that this makes you feel better knowing that it could be something as simple as a shot site reaction. |
