The unused teats will dry up but you have to watch out for engorgement in the mean time. If she seems uncomfortable put a warm rag on the teat for a few minutes than gently extract a little milk to relieve her. Alternating warm and cold packs can also help relieve engorment. Do not stimulate the teats more than absolutely necessary as this will encourage milk production.
