I would think that making your daughter give the dog treats ect would help, but at first, She will have to throw treats to her from a small distance, then gradually work this up, as if your daughter goes close to the dog, poppy will start to feel frightened, and probably snap again.

I would also get your daughter to not pay much attention to the dog, so that the dog will soon realise that she gets the treats from your daughter, and will want to come and play with her.
