Ok- i can't remember the exact- but pretty close- my vet has told me for 30 years to never put pups on the ground- parvo can live in the ground, for years! Pups are not protected- untill all shots are given- and i think then they can still get it! You never know what dog- or other animal- has been in your yard, Rabbit,ect and you do not know if they are sick or not! I have heard him say this to anyone in his office that has a pup- do not put that pup down- in here- outside- or at home- do not put them on the ground!
And I believe him!And I trust him- he has been a vet for over 50 years-and I will cry when he retires- even though he deserves to!He loves animals more than anyone I have ever met! |
