I would definitely talk to some of the experienced breeders on here. I know one said in another thread that a female should be bred for the first time between 18 months and before 3 years of age as their pelvis hardens by three years. I believe it was Mardelin that said this. Apparently it can be harder for a female to whelp the first time if she's bred after three years of age.
