Carrots are good to use as treats. If you are looking for a food for her coat, I feed Nutro Natural for that. (For the Glucosamine, which is also good for joint health.) Mine cannot eat alot of the higher end organic foods, so that is the next best thing. Also, Flax Seed oil added to the food is good for the coat as well. Studies also indicate it is beneficial for preventing certain types of cancer (in people too!). I like the Barlean's brand...you can order it online.
