I agree with the notion that this is likely a response to recent vaccinations, but as you stated, calling the Vet for confirmation is always wise. When our Yorkie pup went in for her 4 month shots and micro-chipping she developed a lump similar the one described in this post. After calling the Vet and being advised that he felt it was vaccination related, we watched the lump as instructed. It remained for a couple of weeks and then just slowly dissolved. The lump appeared "larger" than one might imagine given our babies small size at merely a few months of age and don't always show themselves in larger breed dogs. |
