I agree that might happen, some owners may be good even if seeing a celeb sparked the interest in the breed they buy, but who's to say it's not happening already? They were bybs and petshops before Britney or Paris were born. Also, even if a person buys from a good breeder, who's to say said person won't just give it to the pound? I know a full grown woman who bought a toy poodle some years ago just on her own. Got sick of it and gave it to the pound. BYBS, petshops, and dogs getting treated babdly are not 100% the celeb's fault. That's my point.
