I wonder if its equally normal for them to NEVER bark. I have one guy who will bark at the door or a strange noise, but my little Charlie has never barked (I have two yorkies and they are 6 months). Charlie growls when he is wrestling with his brother and makes a funny little noise when he yawns, but has never opened his mouth to bark.
