I use the freeze-dried raw by The Honest Kitchen. I selected this because you hydrate as needed and there is no need for refrigeration/freezing unless refrigerating an uneaten portion of hydrated food. It isw very easy to travel with and as you hydrate with warm water, the food is warm for those pickier eaters!!!

1. which premade raw would you recommend?
See above - protein content is lower than many raw diets to help prevent disorders that come with high protein diets. Varieties without grain available.

2. How expensive do you find it to be?
I buy the 10 lb bag which lasts me 4 months for two dogs at a cost of $70.00 - so just under $10/month per pup

3. How many medallions do you feed per feeding and how many times a day do you feed?
I feed this for dinner. Breakfast is yogurt. But, if I run out of yogurt, I can quickly substitute this as well.

4. does your dog seem to like it more than kibble?
Yes - they gobble it up immediately!!

5. How long can you leave it in their dish if they don't eat it right away?
After about 20 minutes you would need to refrigerate any uneaten. You can microwave for a few seconds if needed later.
