If you mean People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, I wouldn't give them a penny. Some organizations do it for cheaper than vet offices but it all depends on if you are comfortable with that. I wouldn't be and I insist on the individualized care that Ellie gets at her vet's. They need to be using the right anesthesia and preop drugs. Preop bloodwork is not an option in my opinion. Do they use warming tables or something to that effect when doing surgery? Toys breeds lose body heat easily and not using something for heat is not an option to me either.
